Use custom flow action instead of pyContinueAfterWait
Hi Team,
We have requirement to use a custom flow action instead of the default "pyContinueAfterWait" which emits out of WAIT shape. If so how pega knows the name of the FA which it has to resume as the time limit crosses

I don't think this FlowAction is FINAL right? Why don't you just customize it.

Update the flow action name to your custom FA, once its dependencies are met Pega will automatically move ahead in the flow.
When it reaches the wait shape, it will add entry into PR_INDEX_ASSIGNMENTDEPS table, you can check pyActionName column to verify your custom flow action name is inserted by System
