[Urgent] Integration of Jenkins with Environment Comparison Tool
Hi Team,
We are trying to invoke the Environment Comparison tool from Jenkins. The idea here is that - after each deployment, we want to compare the packages deployed between the source and the target environment and prepare a list of packages mismatch. We have configured a job in Jenkins that will do the automated deployment but are facing difficulties in invoking the Environment Comparison Tool jar file from Jenkins and providing the parameters to it. Is there any way by which we can invoke ECT tool from Jenkins ? Please suggest. This is urgent.

As per below post, there is no option for ECT tool command line option to add this as a step in a workflow in Jenkins.

Hi Team,
We are looking for Java documentation pertaining to ECT tool. We are trying to use the APIs provided by the DevOps Accelaration pack for calling the ECT tool from Jenkins and trying to find out different ways in which we can configure the output report. For this, we want to refer the Java documentation for ECT tool. Please provide the link or the document.

Hi,
We have gone through the article that you have posted here which talks about the use of API to invoke ECT. However, here i am asking to provide the Java API documentation for the ECT tool as its written in Java.
