Upgrading Pega Marketing to latest version
We are planning to upgrade to the latest Pega Platform and Pega Marketing.
The latest version of Pega Marketing is 8.4 and the corresponding upgrade manual check list asks to ensure that Pega Platform 8.4 is installed.
However the Pega Platform latest version is 8.5.
Does Pega Marketing working with Pega Platform 8.5?
Using Pega Plantform 8.5 will help us maintain single platform version across the organization.

@patod , Actually the latest version of Pega Platform and Pega Marketing in 8.6 and not 8.4. Please upgrade to the latest and greatest of both Pega Platform and Customer Decision Hub (formerly Pega Marketing)

@Saleem_A We are also using Pega Marketing for Communication. The highest version I could locate for this app is also 8.4. What version or equivalent application we should use if we are going to upgrade to Pega CDH 8.6?

@patod You’ll find a specific section in the CDH upgrade guide that covers upgrading from CDHC, see https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/pega-customer-decision-hub-8x-upgrade-guide/86/upgrading-pega-customer-decision-hub-communications . So read through the guide to check your specific circumstance, but if you’re using CDHC without NBAA then generally you can remove CDHC Application from your stack, inherit directly from CDH and include the CDHC Legacy component to ensure backwards compatibility.
