Upgrading and Migrating selected apps from monolithic apps

Hi

We have around 10 different pega applications in our on-prem server and plenty of shared rulesets among all of them. These applications run in version 7.3.1.

Out of 10 application, we want to upgrade one of them to 8.4 and move it to Azure cloud.

If any one faced similar situation before, can you please share the challenges faced?

How the shared rulesets are managed when you have them in both onprem and cloud servers?

Hi Mohan

You can try below steps

a) Package the rules for the application that you migrate to cloud b) Identify the shared and Dedicated Table list c) You can migrate the dedicated tables from on-prem to cloud using any of the tool. Contact Microsoft they may suggest d) Shared table is challenging process as you need to pick data based on classes Data- Assign- Work-  Index-  History-
