Upgrade from Pega 7.3.1 to Pega 8.1

Hi,

We are currently on Pega 7.3.1 and are planning to upgrade environment to Pega 8.1.

I've made the necessary configuration changes for the upgrade per the upgrade 8.1 documentation but I get an error message, "Remove the Data-Admin-DB-Name rule with jdbc/MyDataSource reference and remap the tables to PegaRULES"

Is there a way I can continue with the upgrade with out extracting this rule?
