Upgrade - migrate bat file failed to run - Pega 7.1.9
Steps:
- Downloaded pega 719 package
- unzipped the file
- Updated migratesystem.properties as advise in upgrade document
- from command prompat went to the local direcotry where script folder is in unzipped filed from above
- Run the migrate.bat
Error:
The JAVA_HOME environment variable must be defined.
The system cannot find the batch label specified - Error
Can someone advise if this can be run from local machine? and if yes what action I should take to resolve the issue encountered.

This issue occurs if Java is not installed or JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined in the machine from where you are running the upgrade.
Kindly refer the system requirement section in upgrade guide.

719 is very old version of Pega. any specific reason to upgrade to such an old release/
I would suggest that you should look to upgrade to latest 8.x version .
8.7.x is latest Pega release. Here are the details of whats new feature with platform.
