Unfinished assignments were cleaned up by the system in the audit
What does it mean 'Unfinished assignments were cleaned up by the system after the completion of Approval Rejection'? What are the underlying changes in the sytem by the agent at this particular moment from the perspective of database change?

Hello again,
I was looking into a Pega 7.2.1 and the message is coming from pzProcessResolutionStage activity step3 I believe.
So I guess (according to your screen shot), the system is reaching your resolution stage called "Approval Rejection".
As you will see on said activity, the system is looping on the pxFlow to remove assignemnts and then updating the status.

Hello,
I believe this message is coming from Bulk processing job. When a bulk processing job is stalled (see usage), you have an interval which is used to wait before finishing up the job and declaring all unfinished assignments skipped.
Which version of the product are you running ?

Hello Marc, I think you are right.
On further research, it is apparent that Architects could control whether 'clean-up of unfinished assignments' will happen or not. However, pzProcessResolutionStage does not seem to be controlling the Case Audit message in question, apart from the instruction itself that enables PRPC to clean these up. Here I am specifically referring the same activity (version 07-10-25).
Perhaps, it would have been super-ideal for History-Add method to have a pre-condition enabled, to check if there were any unfinished assignments at all before proceeding to further to insert the note into History.
What do you think?
