Unable to install PEGA Personal Edition 8.6 : Unable to connect DB

Hi all,

 

Does anyone has any solution for "Unable to connect DB" error while installing PEGA personal edition 8.6

Error:

Aug 15, 2021 12:31:11 PM org.postgresql.Driver connect SEVERE: Connection error:  org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Connection to localhost:5433 refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections.     at org.postgresql.core.v3.ConnectionFactoryImpl.openConnectionImpl(ConnectionFactoryImpl.java:265)

 

Tried Solution:

1. Added exception for different port in firewall

2. Tried multiple ports 

3. removed instance or PPE  and downloaded new ZIP and tried again.

Any suggestion is appriciated.
