Unable to create application

Hi,

I am trying to create the new application using "Claim Warranty" Application. Please find attached screen shot.

While creating application I am getting below exception

PRSecurityException: Role 'PegaWarranty:Approver' not found for the current ruleset context

Can somebody please help to resolve the issue?

Hi Deepali,

Thank you for posting in Pega Support Community!

  • Have you tried creating the application with the Pega OOTB operator ID?
  • Try to create the application by login with the below credentials

                             UserName : WarSysAdmin

                             Password : install

  • If you still find any error while creating the application by login with the above mentioned credentials, kindly provide the screenshots of the error to investigate further.
  • Also, mention the Pega version that you are using.

Hi Geeda,

Thanks for your reply.

I have used OOTB operator Id [email protected].

I am not able to login with below credentials. It seems operator id is not present.

Pega version we are using is 8.1. 

And the warranty framework version is 8.2. Is this a root cause for this issue?

Hi Deepali,

With reference to the Pega Warranty 8.2 Installation guide  , to install Pega Warranty 8.2 framework the prerequisites are platform version 8.2 and Pega for Manufacturing 8.2.

I suspect, since the platform and framework versions are different at your end and it doesn't met the prerequisites might be causing the issue. As a best practice, we would recommend to follow the Pega Warranty 8.2 Installation guide  and Pega Warranty 8.2 implementation guide.

Hi GeedA,

I have installed Pega for Manufacturing 8.2 first and then I have installed Pega for Warranty 8.2. So prerequisites are fulfilled.

But the only problem is Platform is 8.1 and framework is 8.2. In such situations what is the way out?
