UI Specialist 7.1 exercise system download error
Hi,
I tried installing the exercise system file given in the PDN course. I already have VMware Workstation player installed on my system. But I'm unable to extract the downloaded file which is in ' .tar ' format. It shows the following error
" Unable to extract file. Possible cause bad disk. "
Tried installing it in C drive also. Same error thrown.
System specifications:-
Windows 7, 64-bit, 4 GB RAM.

There is a note in the VM user guide regarding the .tar file extension.
If you are using IE or Chrome, these browsers change the file type extension to .tar
The actual file type extension is .ova
You must change the file type extension back to .ova
Since you have already downloaded the file, you can change the file type extension using Windows Explorer
