Two actions on a single button when first action has error then the second action shouldnot run

I have a Button. on which Iam calling an activity and create work action. in the activity im getting an PYID and keeping it on a clipboard page. If there is no PYID im setting an pageset message. So here if there is an error it should quit the activity and simultaneosly the other action create work should not run.

Please advise how to handle this.

Hi

In your activity set a flag when the pyid is missing and use the flag as a checking conditions for the CreateWork event . Screenshot below

could we attempt a similar onClick event action configured for 'Discard' button in OOTB RULE-HTML-SECTION RULE- PZRULEFORMTOOLBARDELETECHECKOUT?

I have written an Custom control for the button and calling simultaneaosly the flow on clicking the button. error handling is also done within the html script.
