Troubleshooting: "No suitable driver found…" error when testing connectivity Pega 7.2.2 to SQL Server 2014

Hi Team,

I am using Pega 7.2.2 and trying to connect SQL Server 2014.

The issue that i am facing is "No suitable driver found." error message. I think JDBC driver are missing as per the posts at:

Please let me know where i can search for the jdbc driver for SQL Server 2014 with Pega 7.2.2.

Kindly let me know any more details that are required.

Hi Gaurav,

You need to download the appropriate jdbc driver jar file and place it in the lib folder of your application server (where the jdbc jar file is located which is used to connect to the Pega database).

Not sure the lib folder will work consistently. When talking about JDBC drivers on Tomcat, for example, it is best to put it in "endorsed" directory.
