BIX 7.2.1 SQLState 08001, Error code 0: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for

Hi,

We are facing an issue in PAT BIX server, when ever we tried to run a BIX script it is throwing below error and we are not able to connect to database to run the BIX rule.

We have given correct jdbc connection(removed from above error log). Below are Few observations 1. we are setting a oracle_HOME path in one of the script. it is not present in dev environment.
2. Ojdbc7.jar file was present in the directory mentioned to include. Along with below files jar file there are lot of jar files which were imported from legacy version (5.5). Currently we are using 7.2.1 version(BIX - 07-10-25).

prbootstrap.jar
prdbcp.jar
prbootstrap-api.jar

Hi,

In Point-2, Ojdbc7.jar file was present in the directory mentioned to include- can you please specify which directory?

​In general, this ojdbc jar file should be present in Application server's path.

Hi Arvind,

Ojdbc7.jar was placed in server /webAS/***/lib where the other prbootstap.jar files are located. Can you please let me know the application server path to verify in general.

But in my prconfig.xml I also have the following entries

<env name="database/databases/PegaRULES/url" value="jdbc:oracle:thin:@myserver:1521:myDB" />
<env name="database/databases/PegaRULES/userName" value="PEGA722DATA" />
<env name="database/databases/PegaRULES/password" value="removed" />
 
 
<env name="database/databases/PegaRULES/defaultSchema" type="java.lang.String" value="PEGA722RULES" />
<env name="database/databases/PegaDATA/defaultSchema" type="java.lang.String" value="PEGA722DATA" />
 
 
I'm calling the ExtractImpl class directly with Java with a script containing: -
 

set BIXHOME=D:\download2\pega\PRPC\PEGA_7_2_2\115290_Pega722\Additional_Products\BIX

My BIX script has the below classpath

set java_home="C:\Java\Sun\jdk1.8.0_102"
set CLASSPATH=".;C:\path\more_paths\Additional_Products\BIX\lib\prbootstrap.jar;C:\path\more_paths\Additional_Products\BIX\lib\prbootstrap-api.jar;C:\path\more_paths\Additional_Products\BIX\lib\prdbcp.jar;C:\path\more_paths\Additional_Products\BIX\lib\ojdbc6.jar;C:\path\more_paths\Additional_Products\BIX\lib\jsr94-1.0.jar"

Note the current directory path (.) I have included at the very beginning.

Have you updated prbootstrap.properties accordingly?
