Is there a bug with the "Show in 'New' menu" checkbox?

If you don't want a child case type to appear in the "New" menu (also known as "Create" menu), how do you  achieve this?

The checkbox for the case is already unchecked, so shouldn't display by default. But it's always showing up. Is it something to do with the Wait step in the parent case? (I've encountered this issue while attempting to complete Low-Code App Builder Extended US-1005).

@CharisseM Actually, I think there is a bug.

Yesterday when I modified the parent (Open account) case to create and wait for the child (Select account), and previewed the application in the child case, it kept showing both cases when I clicked the "+". But today I've re-opened my pega instance, made absolutely no changes, and it's magically working as expected (only showing the parent).
