Is there any extension point for SLA agent?
Hi,
We have a requirement to validate few things before running SLA agent.is there any extension point for the SLA agent?

Hi Suneethal,
Could you please elaborate your requirement, what kind of validations you want to check and when you want to check(Before initiating the SLA itself or what ?).
If you are okay, you can do the validations on escalation activity and based on the validation result you can run your business logic(but in this case your SLA control move from GOAL to Deadline state, in validation failure case if you want to keep the SLA in the GOAL state again then you have to take care of it)

this is what is happening:
when the SLA wakes up it advances the flow and the next step is to connect to db and if the db is down the requestor is hung forever as we are using connect-sql to connect to db.though we have connection time out settings in JNDI,it is still not reliable.
So our idea is to check if the db is accesible even before the agent advances the flow.how can we achieve this?
i guess your idea of trying the escalation acitivity may work.i need to check.but do you have any other alternative?
