Testing React based UI - Pega 8.4

Hi,

  Greetings. I am using a Pega 8.4 cloud instance, i have enabled the option to support React based UI within the application definition, now my questions are how do i know constellation service has been installed? and how do i test my application from a user perspective with react UI? launching the pega portals (Case Worker/Case Manager) renders the UI within the pega portal but i think react UI should be hosted elsewhere? Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Can you please check Pega 8.4 help topic, On Configuring Pega Platform for React UI topic. Its pretty clear what happens when you enable Support React-based UI, or how do you test React Ui for an application.

Thanks for this, i have gone through the link but it does not explain in detail as to how a React based application can be tested. I have an application which has this React based UI enabled within its definition but interested to see if we have to write the forms and components outside Pega? I thought the React framework will be up and running if using a Pega Cloud.

It works when i run the React locally and have the service running , and application is served at localhost:3000 but i need to know if there is any detailed guidance on the topic "Testing a React UI for an application"
