Test the process flow
You are developing a case type that processes scholarship applications. Scholarship application advanced based on the standardized test of the applications. A decision shape directs the process flow.
You want to test whether the process flows correctly, but you have not fully configured the user interface so that applicants can enter their standardized test scores.
1) Use a declare expression to set a value for the standardized test score filed.
2) Use Live to set how the case process and if an error occurs.
3) Use the Clipboard tool to set a value for the standardized test score filed.

The correct answer will be 3.
When we are on the assignment screen which is before decision shape, we can open the clipboard and edit, add the property and its value. So when we click on submit for this assignment the as the clipboard page has the value, it evaluates the decision shape and so that we can see how the flow is processing.

Declare expressions are mainly to calculate the values based on expressions. And the value of target property is calculated based on change tracking. It is generally not used for testing purposes. In the above scenario too, we are not calculating standardized scores, user will enter the score, so it is not needed to use Declare expression here.
