On tab change, scroll position reset to top
Hi ,
Am working on Pega 7.3. When multiple cases are opened from custom portal and one of the case is scrolled. On tab switch and coming back to scrolled tab, scroll position resets to top.
Is there any way we can keep the scroll position as it is.

When you do tab switch and come back to scrolled tab, does the tab content get refreshed?
Most likely, it does. So, the tab will be re-rendered. The scroll position is reset to the top.
Can you check the tab action configuration? Is there anything which makes this tab to be refreshed?

Can you try to debug it using Developers Tools? Mostly, somewhere "ScrolltoTop" is a method that might be getting called, which is causing the scrolling issue.
Another way to remove scrolling is to remove scrollbar using "overflow: scroll;" but I am not sure about your configuration.

I want to reset scroll position to earlier position where user left the webpage. Is there any way we can achieve this.

Hi Prashanth,
This is an expected behavior, In End user portal you will see this behavior on switching to another tab the Harness reload and the scrollbar will be the scroll to up by default (When DOM getting reloaded).
