I am currently on the System Architect Essentials lesson 19, which is Exercise: Configuring reference data.
I'm attempting to do the second bullet point in the exercise system, to add "Service provider" to the data types.
The specific step I am seeing this issue with is:
Create the Service provider data type with fields
1. In App Studio, from the left navigation panel, click Data to view the Data Explorer, which lists the data types defined for your application.
2. In the Data Explorer, click New to open a dialog to create a new data type for service provider information.
3. In the untitled dialog, in the Create new data type field, enter Service provider.
4. On the lower right, click Next to accept the default values for the remaining options and create the data type.
When I click the "Next" button is when I get the error.
Rule Generation Failed
.pyDataTypeDetails: Error occurred trying to parse the expression and augmenting the code: java.lang.NullPointerException
Has anyone experienced this, and how can I resolved it to continue this lesson?
There could have been an issue when creating the Service Provider data type. Please check to see if you already have one. This might require a screen share session. If you would like to do a screen share please send an email to [email protected] and I would be happy to set up a time to discuss.
