Support Content Persistence
First off, I'm excited to see this latest (Pilot) iteration of Pega developer support. Jive is a good platform. Thanks to all who worked to get us here!
One concern I have, given that this is a pilot *and* there's an open question whether this will be the platform going forth, is how we can get some degree of confidence that user-created content will persist. I had been contributing some posts in a shared area for the last year, and my access to that appeared to disappear this week. It may be coincidence -- and I'm looking into that privately -- but I'd like to be able to move content here if it makes more sense (once nice feature about Jive is that it's very easy to move content from one place to another).
Also, an issue that could be of interest to many folks here, I'd like to search through the PDN Forums to find all my opinion questions, to evaluate whether to bring them forward here for fresh visibility. There's been varying support for finding all of one's posts on the PDN Forum platform (see question), and, while strictly speaking that's a question for the PDN team, it is all part of the face of GCS to us customers. It would be helpful to have all of one's content in one place -- and it doesn't necessarily need to be done automatically, we users should be able to at least pick & choose.

Before sending out the kick-off invite this morning, it was with the knowledge that one of the top concerns of anyone we ask to do this will be whether their participation would be worthwhile for our long-term strategy (where ever it may take us) or only in the context of this pilot. And we believe that if it's the latter we won't get the level of participation we are looking for.
We recognize that each and every participant's time, knowledge, and ideas are valuable. As we get this pilot off the ground, the value of what you provide and it's importance to you will be at the forefront of defining the longer term strategy.
Or, to put it another way, we have no intention of tossing out a bunch of excellent user-provided content at the end of this just because we're doing it as a pilot

Hi Jon,
Yes, the Jive-Mesh feature Move content is extremely useful. Good luck investigating your lost access to the ECS community space. :Let's hope that it's a temporary glitch.
To see all of your PDN posts, did you view your PDN profile and click the Posts tab?
See Essential Links on the PDN, the section PDN Community Member Profiles.

Jon: This appears to be a bug. As directed in Essential Links on the PDN, use the PDN Contact Us link to submit your PDN defect report.
When I view other customer's PDN profiles, I see Replies by them (on the View tab) and their Posts (all posts, classified by type -- article, forum).

I don't have the link to posts, so I tried the posts URL. I got "Access denied."
When I emailed [email protected] a month ago, the response I got was: "Search by UID is no longer available. We will address this functionality in the future."
If it had been just a matter of access policy, than that would have been more clear.
I can follow-up with my AE, but, as matter of civic duty, I would petition that this feature should be available to all customers.

I have captured a PDF of our discussion and emailed it to PDN Support and the PDN Dev Team with your request -- that all external customers have access in their PDN Profiles to views with links to all of their PDN Topics, Replies, and Posts. See the email attachment here.
