Data page -Database persistence
Editable data page can be saved to database. Is there any use case or reason behind this.

Editable data page can be saved to database. Is there any use case or reason behind this.

Hi Pravin,
Datapages are made as editable so you can edit the properties access it from the clipboard use it somewhere else .
Until unless if you’re not saving the class mapped to datapage that means datatype class you can’t persist the records into database .
For example if you have a repeat grid sourced from datapage and some properties from the datapage your using it in the form ,So while creating the case all these data will be saved into work object .
If you want to save the records into datapage also then you have to create an event call the activity and do a objsave so that the records will be persisted in datatype .

Editable datapgae do not automatically persist back to the source. That must be done explicitly.
