Suggest to have an OOTB Connect-SP (Stored Procedure) Rule and new Activity Method

I would suggest Pega to have an new connector Rule Connect-SP to connect with Stored Procedures in future version, this Rule may have tabs including Input Parameters, Output Parameters and Results for Stored Procedures. Also, a new Activity Method Connect-SP to be added to utilize the connector.

Since lots of my client projects have lots of SP calls, these include read and write with transactions, exiting Connect-SQL rule has to work with Activities, Data Transforms and even Java code to achieve this, instead, we may consider having an OOTB rules. Thanks.

I see your point but wondering why there is a need to have significant amount of SP calls. is it because of the complexity of the data model or restrictions at DB end?

Thanks for the response, most of our projects were re-writing from legacy systems. All SOR data and structures are in separated databases other than Pega database.
