Specifying role based widgets in dashboard
We currently have one dashboard for our application that managers of the group have access to. We'd like to allow another kind of user with a "reviewer" role have access to this dashboard as well.
Is there a way to make it so that the user with the "reviewer" role has access to the dashboard but only have a select amount of widgets available?
My current ideas are to make the individual widgets check for the role so that they could be added but not show anything or create multiple dashboards but I think Pega is designed so that widgets can only be in one dashboard and I don't want to have multiple copies of something like this (although, I think I could probably make both instances a wrapper).
What is best practice for something like this.

@Mandaris Hi Mandaris,
For each user, the dashboard can be customized to include widgets specific to their work group, access group, and operator.
Steps:
1. Append the desired results to the pyUserDashboardLoadList after customizing it to your ruleset ( Refer screen shot)
2. Adjust the pyUserDashboardCanPublishFor when rule so that it includes the assertion on pyOwnerType as accessgroup.
3. On the publish dashboard menu, you would see the options you have included. By publishing it to a specified group, you can customize various widgets for various accessgroups and teams.

Also, I'm having some trouble finding out where pyUserDashboardLoadList is called. Is this called by the individual widget?

@Mandaris Yes. I'm adding a logic to the logic string .
(A AND B AND C) OR (D AND E) OR (F AND G) OR H.
The publish menu on dashboard is sourced from a datapage (D_pxUserDashboardPublishList) which in turn calls the when rule ( pyUserDashboardCanPublishFor) and the data transform (pyUserDashboardLoadList).
Please look at the datapage so that you can clearly see how the publish menu options are presented.

I've also added another picture.
The idea is that the user would see the widgets that in "1. Case Management" and not "2. Team".
Those values being from the Category of the individual widgets (photo attached).

@Mandaris I see that you have selected "Teams" as the category in the screenshot up top. If you switch it to the Case Management category, you will be able to view the widget under the same.
