Combine Worklist and Workbasket in Dashboard
Hello,
We have a business scenario where users want to see tasks under worklist and workbasket in one view/table. We have tried to use report definition created in Assign- class using option of include descendant classes. But once we apply filters the report starts throwing error while execution. Other way is to fire 2 report definitions on worklist and workbasket and using post processing combine the results in one page list. But the performance impact would be significant. Is there another way to achieve this or future product upgrades would support "UNION ALL" in report definition? We are on PEGA Cloud so option of creating a materialized view as UNION between WB and WL is not available.

@VirendraSawant Perhaps look at the problem from the other way around....Can you create a Work class RD, and then join it with both Assign-Worklist and Assign-Workbasket classes ?
That way, you should be able to show the records from both the required assignment tables.

We need to show columns from WL and WB tables. If we join the tables then only way to display data from WL and WB would be for e.g. WL.pyNote and WB.pyNote defined as columns in RD. So if a assignment is in WL then the WB.pyNote would not have data. We need to show data from WL and WB which have same columns in short.

@VirendraSawant If your requirement is show information in the same columns for Work List and Work Basket then i would configure the Grid with Data Page and Parse the Results into Flat PageList from .pxPages(WL) and .pxPages(WB).

@VirendraSawant Perhaps use an aggregate Data Page to pull the records from 2 different sources and populate the data in one single list. That can then be used to show the data or use it as a reference.
