SMA configuration automatically after server reboot
Hello Team,
we are facing one issue that every time we need to do SMA configuration for every node after server reboot. after server reboot the SMA configuration is getting reset. we need to manually configuring SMA after every reboot. Is there any option to do it automation for SMA configuration or can we do it via script. ?

You could consider externalizing the nodes.xml user specified directory instead of default .
Below are the steps needed for externalizing : -
- Add the JVM property to your application server as ‘-Dcom.pega.sma.tmpdir=/SYSTEM/tmp/SMA’ .
Replace ‘/SYSTEM/tmp/SMA’ with the location where you plan to store the Nodes.xml file
- Restart the server and start SMA.

The SMA configuration settings are stored in a file called Nodes.xml. In Tomcat this file is stored in %TOMCAT_HOME%\work\Catalina\localhost\prsysmgmt
I suspect your server restart process also delete this file. Review your server startup/shutdown script.
