Short cut to Import wizard in Designer Studio
Dears,
Is there a way to create a short cut to the import wizard on the designer? There are no short cut keys for any of the Pega menus available. I see that the rules can be added to favorites but since i am an admin have more work to do with imports rather than the rules themselves.
Any help on this regard is appreciated.

Hello,
As far as I know there is no option to create the short cuts for wizard/menu items in Pega. If you are using import wizard multiple items you can get it from "Recent Items".
In Pega 7.3 there is a new option to search for all the menu items.

Hi Jaggan,
One way to launch the Import wizard is calling it on click of any link or button, on the action "Wizard" and calling the class "PegaAccel-Management-Import".
But it cannot be done on the designer studio as all the sections that make the designer are final and internal rules. If you want it for you user only, you can make the change in the private edit and customize a link as mentioned above.

I appreciate the replies and the ideas behind this simple yet irritating task in the studio.
But i am not convinced that this is the final global solution for an admin. Any wizard on a software i beleive should be the easiest to access because as the name implies, it does magic on the touch of a stroke. Having to go through multiple menus everytime i have a jar to import makes the magic seem dull.
Please incorporate an architectural solution to present this wizard easily on the portal for an operator as an admin.

You can build you own portal where you can use a section which has links to all the functions that you use often. You can get help from your development team.
