Importing rules in Designer Studio taking longer time than expected

Hello,

I am trying to import some two ruleset versions from another pega designer studio environment to a different one. Both are of the same versions. I have created Product Patch from the first environment. In the next environment, I have selected the zip file and clicked on 'Next' in the import wizard. But, it is showing "Initializing Import" for a very long time and it is not moving forward. What may be the issue?

It is hard to speculate without any data. Questions:

1. Are there anything in the PegaRules log? 

2. If not, can you generate thread dumps so that we can see what is going at the time of importing?

3. More details about your Pega environment. e.g., provide SMA ETier runtime environment screen.
