Set param to property value in correspondence fragment
I have a property Type
In my correspondence rule I want to refer to a parameterised Datapage property using a property value as parameter. When doing the following: <% tools.putParamValue("ParamOne","1");%> <% tools.putParamValue("ParamTwo","2");%>
<pega:withPage name="D_DataPageName"> <p:r n=".Value"/></p:r> </pega:withPage>
It works fine. But how to get a property of the current page (I'm at that moment in a <pega:forEach> loop) in one of the parameters? I've tried:
<% tools.putParamValue("ParamTwo","<p:r n="propertyname" m="javascript" />");%>
But I can't get it working. Any advice?

Its better to use refer datapage pattern instead of this

Hi @KarthikM6254, Thnx for your reply, but this is not what I'm looking for... I have a loop on a pagelist like: items() <item> <type>100 <color>red <item> <type>200 <color>blue On the other hand, I have a parameterised Datapage like D_Item Where D_Item[code=100].Value = "Lawn Mower" D_Item[code=200].Value = "Bucket" Now when looping over my pagelist, I want to put in my correspondence something like: * Lawn Mower - red * Bucke - blue So I would need to refer to the correct D_Item by putting the param code as .type I can get this working by putting the param hardcoded to "100" or "200" <% tools.putParamValue("code","100");%> But I can't figure out how to get the current .type into this parameter. Thnx for your help!

@KarthikM6254 I managed it by doing the following, but certainly not sure this is the best approach, so open for other options! <pega:forEach name="$this.Item"> <pega:withReference name="$this.Type"> <% String prop = tools.getActive().toString(); tools.putParamValue("Code",prop); %> </pega:withReference> <p:r n="D_Item.Value"></p:r><br> </pega:forEach>
