Sending Attachments with External Assignment (DWA)
Hi,
We have a requirement where we need an approval from the user who is outside Pega application.
We are trying to send an attachment with the external assignment (DWA) So that the external user can view the attachment and can take decision on approval.
We tried to customize the CreateAndProcessCorr activity by building the attachment Page. But when we run the flow, the attachment is missing with the email that we sent.
Did anyone tried the above scenario ?
Can we send attachments with the external assignments ?
Will Pega restrict the attachment with the DWA ?
Please let us know if you have any thoughts. Thanks !!

I haven't tried it personally, but we should be able to send an attachment with DWA email.
I found the below PDN post you can give a try.
You can override the activity ExternalRequestQuickStart and set the required properties in the pyCorrPage to have attachments sent in the DWA email.

It states "The EngageExternalForInformation flow ... allows the user to select a correspondence rule to send to the external user", which implies you could customize the email sent with the external assignment, so assume you could add attachments to it.
