Search empty string, Single quotes,double quotes and null
We have a custom search in our application. When we search for say first name ="" (double quotes) it returns all the values. When we search for the same field with '' (single quotes), it says no results found. And when enter NULL in the text box it return No Results found.
Why is this behavior different?

Can you upload the configuration snapshots of your search field?
What activities are invoked for the search function?

It's a custom search. Uses text field as input parameters passed to a RD that return the search results.
Here is we search for a First name as "abc" or abc it return results.

HI,
Can you run Tracer for two use cases (first name ="" and first name ='')?
Include the DB query event type in the tracer setting.
In tracer log, you can check SQL statements for both cases. You will see the difference.
