Run Script Function call not happening on Link click after upgrade from 8.3 to 8.6
We have specified a function in Control rule and we are referring the control in our Section. Now in that section we made the same function call on click of Link through Run Script.
This function call will download the document on clicking of that link. This configuration was working fine in Pega 8.3v , but not after upgrade to 8.6v.
Please suggest resolution for this.

Since 8.5 Pega has introduced BAC feature to enhance security of Pega applications . We need to verify the request for custom controls, custom java in activities, etc.. to overcome this issue. The following help document should be helpful on how to register custom controls.

If the control is already registered / if OOTB script is called, Please ensure check verify request check box in the control property panel.

Could you please confirm that you are using OOTB function in Run Script action?
Could you please check browser console for any errors while clicking on the link? and if there are any errors, resolving them will help here.
