Hi All,
I have a requirement where prompt list will get populated with two different set of values.
.ie When screen gets loaded with predetermined value A then drop down X will get populated with a set of values (a,b,c)
and when screen gets loaded with predetermined text value B then drop down X will get populated with another set of val;ues (x,y,z)
Kindly suggest .

Can you please elaborate on the requirement . Shouldnt we be able to use a dropdown sourced by a datapage which can take A and B as parameters to filter its results accordingly and source it to the dropdown.Moreover dropdown has a property for value and property for display ( similar to the standard and prompt values respectively in a prompt list)

You can follow below steps:
1. Store your values a,b,c,x,y,z in a Reference data table may be as below:

| x | B | ||
| y | B | ||
| z | B |
* The tables can have other columns also depending on your requirement.
2. Use a parameterized data page with Filter as a paramter, as a source to your drop down.
D_Getvalue[Filter: "A"] -> You can either use a parameter or a property reference to store filter values on load of screen.

If you are using the source list as defined on the property, by OOTB we cannot achieve this. You can get this by using either the Clipboard page, Data page, Report definition.
For Data page and Report Definition, we need to have Data Type and for the Clipboard page, we can populate in pre-processing Data Transform or Activity.
Instead, if we need to use the prompt list defined on the property, we can use 2 different properties for 2 dropdowns and show them based on visibility.
