POST UPGRADE Navigation behaving differently

Hi,

We are upgrading from Pega 7.1.7 to 8.4.3. We have a horizontal navigation with Standard menu configured. In version 7 we observe that on click of inactive menu it becomes active and immediately it backs to inactive once we click away. But in version 8 we observed that even after clicking away the menu remains active. Tried configuring my own navigations and skin rules in both the environment and found the same behavior. Please help me out in achieving the Pega 7 functionality.
