Performdefaults is calling two times and resulting in UI performance issues
When the look for assignments in the parent case is checked in the Flowaction and the assigment of this FA submitted (assignment opened in ACPrimary) , if there is any eligble assignment on Parent case is found, we are noticing Perform activity is calling two times one from finishassignment acitivity (OOTB) and one from cosmos scripts i think ,
due to above behavior, Performdefaults is calling two times and resulting in UI performance issues.
Can you please advise on this please and any solution for this?

@venugopalakrishna Please share which platform version and which cosmos version you are facing this issue. I tried similar configuration on Pega 8.7 GA with Theme-cosmos 4.01 and i am not seeing this issue.

@NishanthReddyGajjelawe are on 8.7 and theme-cosmos:04. did you submit the child case running in ajax containeer context ?

@Venu gopala krishna Yes. Attaching the case config I did to test this scenario. In the parent case I added parallel processing and upon submission of the child case, parent case assignment gets picked.
PerformDefaults should ideally be called only from FinishAssignment. Can you share at what point is the second call to PerformDefaults is happening. Also make sure all rulesets(including Application rulesets) are enabled when running the tracer.
