Performance issue with dropdown
We are upgrading the application from 6.2 to 7.1.5. Since DynamicSelect is deprecated, we have replaced DynamicSelects with pxDropdowns in with different sources as DataPage, Clipboard pages. Now i am facing performance issue with dropdowns with run activity. I have commented the Show-Page and Page-Remove methods in the source activty, this increasing clipborad size and affecting performance.
Any suggestions how to handle this issue? As of now i am trying to remove the pages in post activity of the flow actions.

If you haver more resutls for dropdown then you should consider using the Autocomplete. Dropdowns are ment to have few results wheter autocomplete can scalable with more number of results.

Removing the pages after using that is the best practice in order to increase the performance and for the customization of the clipboard. For the more values to display what dhevendar suggests is the good thing.customization of the activity with the needful methods also increase the performance.

We have to look at case by case.
1. When the same set of data used across multiple fields, then we can parameterize the DataPage. This will improve the performance.
2. If it static field, then it we can set DataPage at Node level.
3. when Clipboard size is really concerning, then we can Clean the DataPage at Thread level, while moving to next screen.
