PegaRULES Web Application Error Message: An has occurred processing this request.
I have used a Decimal property(.Amount) and to this onchange action i have kept refresh section inside this i have used a activity ans called validate rule to display some custom validation message like entered amount should be >1 if Amount less than 1 etc.....
But when I'm entering a alpha numeric value(say: 123a)........section is showing

then after this is getting failed with Pega exception.
Could you please help on this.

Oh alphanumeric I see. I guess I was confused because your property is Decimal right? I'm not sure Decimal is the right type for a value that should be alphanumeric.

yes....my property is of type decimal and i used a validate rule to show custom msg on UI
for example if i give amount as 0 then it will thorw "amount should be greater than 0"
If i enter numeric values its working good
But the problem here if i give input as 123a,aa111 etc....it failing with pega exception..screenshots already attached above.
As per my understanding will bith the validation will work at the same time.....for example when i give alphanumeric value decimal property validates as its not a valid property at the same my validate rule runs along with ....will this have any impact
