PegaMarketingNBAA_FW_PreReqs & PegaMarketingNBAA_FW Application in the Pega Marketing
Hi All,
The below application rules are deprecated/modified in Pega Marketing framework/product (referring to Pega marketing for communications).
- PegaMarketingNBAA_FW_PreReqs
- PegaMarketingNBAA_FW
Could you please let me know in which version of the Pega Marketing this application rules/build on application rules are deprecated/modified?
Is there any reference/details which provide more details on the deprecated application rules and Ruleset?
As part of tradition upgrades, what could be impact due to change in the build on application rules ?
Due to depreciated/modified application rules, did anyone faced any issues with this scenarios while doing migration or upgrade of the Pega Marketing product/framework on different version of Pega product?
Any Suggestions?

Till 7.3 we have pega NBAA and later in 7.4 it comes as part of the pega crm
Is there any reference/details which provide more details on the deprecated application rules and Ruleset?

As of my knowledge until we make smooth upgrades as recommended by pega we would not have any problem provided all the prerequisites for the application are present

Thanks for the details. I had revised my query in detail.
The PegaMarketingNBAA built-on app has been decoupled from Pega Marketing for Communications v7.31.
Previous version, Pega Marketing for Communications is build on PegaMarketingNBAA_FW_PreReqs & PegaMarketingNBAA_FW application respectively.
Could you please let us know the version of Pega Marketing for Communications, where the build on application hierarchy had been modified /deprecated?
What could be general issue when we migrate the Pega Marketing from different version of the Pega product (i.e. migrate and upgrade)?
Accordingly, the Next-Best-Action Advisor (NBAA) ruleset has also been deprecated. I was not able to get the details from upgrade guide /Implementation/ Install guide ?
Any suggestions?

it is now part of CRM and you will get it as Pega advisor as part of it if your application point to cs which built on advisor.

It is related to Pega Marketing for Communications v7.31 and Pega v7.3.1.
In this scenario, it will a huge impact when we do upgrade and perform “as-is” migration from lower environment into Pega v7.3.1.
Since build on application is decoupled (including change in inheritance with the depreciated NBAA Ruleset) for Pega Marketing for Communications v7.31.
It will require more efforts for changing rules and to sync with design and existing flow when we continue with additional enhancements in the lower environments.
If my assumption is correct, the previous post are related to Pega v7.4
