Pega Outbound Email Sent or Not
How do we know whether emails are sent successfully or not from pega?
Currently we are using OOTB activity SendOutboundEmail to sent an email.If we sent an email, the corr attachment is adding to WO/Case even if we gave wrong email address. ex: [email protected]
I find No errors and exceptions in Logs.
Is there any specific property or algorithm to classify the status of the emails sent or not?

Hi @mvinodkumar: Can you please validate if the activity mentioned by you (SendOutboundEmail) is app specific activity? I don't see this in product. If this is OOTB in product, please help to share the ruleset and class to validate.
Please also look into this for some troubleshooting.
If you are sending a email to a invalid email ID, your email server wouldn't know if the email id is available in the target domain and it won't fail. In this case you will get a undelivered acknowledgement in your mailbox which is sending email. You may need to have a listener configured to read those and add your business logic based on the requirement.

SendOutboundEmail activity is belongs to Work- class and PegaAppCA:08-05-01 ruleset.
