Pega Marketing Portal, revision management and creating rules outside revision
Hi,
When using revision management in Pega Marketing, a tab is added in the Marketing portal. From the Marketing Portal, you can use revisions perfectly fine :)
I am wondering why it is still possible to add strategies via the menu "Intelligence - Strategies". These strategies will end up in the artifacts ruleset, outside of the revision.
My questions are:
Is this intended?
Should we configure something to let the menu options disappear?
How does the creation of a strategy during the creation of a campaign relate to this?

This is in Pega Marketing 7.22

Hi,
What version of the platform are you running on?
If Pega Marketing 7.22 on platform 7.2.2 any new rule creation (so a new strategy from the intelligence panel) should be created within a revision context.
If Pega Marketing 7.22 on platform 7.2.1 any new rule creation (so a new strategy from the intelligence panel) should be prevented if check in / check out enabled.
So if you can confirm version I should be able to help you better.
