Pega loading icon (Throbber Image) distorted in Chrome
Hello,
we are using Pega 8.3.0, recently we noticed that the OOTB loading icon (Throbber Image) in the latest version of Google chrome (Version 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)) is distorted, attached image for reference.
Are you aware of this? Do you have any recommendation for any fix?

this is related to how Chrome handled the CSS positioning of the squares – the issue appears with Chrome v84 and higher, the CSS positioning is no longer aligned
the issue was fixed in 8.5.1 (we changed the loading indicator) and in 8.3.5 and 8.4.1

For older versions (Pega 8.1, 8.2, or 8.3), you can either fix the positioning through local change or change the loading indicator

I'm blown away that a Chrome update caused this, but it does appear to be the case. I'm not sure why at this point. If no one else can help determine the root root cause and subsequent solution here, please raise an INC and let us know the ID if you do.
