Pega CPM upgrade 6.2 to 8.6

Hi ,

 can we upgrade Pega CPM application which is in 6.2 version to 8.6 directly ? is there any supporting document available which can help to understand challenges and process. Is there any tool which can help ?

Any suggestion and help would be highly appreciated.
