Pega BIX extract to shared path
Hi All,
I have created an extract rule and am trying to extract data to an external database.
While running the rule - we get option to generate the schema to be run for the first time. i want to give a shared path here , as we do not have access to the pega backend server
The perform extract runs - but no schema script is created in the path. Please let me know what needs to be done for the schema file to be created on shared network path. is there any permmisions to be set. All ports are open

As per screen shot, schema has been created but file name contains two file extension i.e. .txt and .sql ideally it should be .sql only , please follow below instruction and try once.
- While running extract rule under schema path only give path of file without extension.
- Make sure directory has full read/write permission to everyone.

Ran the extract rule under the schema path with only filename and no extension
The share path directory has full permissions for everyone - so permissions should not be an issue
Still same issue - no file created in the share path

If you have Pega server access then try to give file path of server only to generate schema and check once, if schema file has created ,means it's permission issue.
