Pega 8.x Upgrade Jdbc

it's not clear whether the ojdb6 driver match the requirement for Pega8.x on Oracle 11.2 By looking at the official oracle website https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/faq-jdbc
(see question What are the Oracle JDBC releases Vs JDK versions?)
for Oracle 11.2 and 11gR2 database, ojdb6 is supported with JDK 8 (version Proprietary information hidden and Proprietary information hidden) Then is it possible to use it for Pega 8.x?

Hi,
As per the provided link ,Oracle supports the usage of ojdbc 6 versions of the driver(with JDK7 &8) for Oracle DB 11g or 11.2 (version Proprietary information hidden and Proprietary information hidden only) and having Pega 8.x supporting the above DB versions, there shouldn't be any problem.
If vendors state a particular combination will not work or is not supported, that combination will not be supported by Pegasystems
