Pega 7.X - Massive load times for first user
Hi,
Has anyone else experienced the large (minutes) load time for the first time a user logs into PRPC on a server? Whenever a new server is built the server will correctly authenticate the users login request but will then return a 504 response code. After the user reloads the page (after a couple of minutes) the Pega 7 Designer Studio will be available and all subsequent logins by other users will not face the same problem.
Does anyone have a fix or solution so that the server can initiate the load instead of a user?

Have you check the logs ? Is there anything suspicious ?
Generally speaking, for a new environment , the login might be bit lengthy because the cache and rule assembling happens for the first time.
But unless you see the tracer, you will not be able to zero in to a particular reason of this.

Hi Santanu,
I believe that this is because it starts the clustering and associated rules occur after a user logs in for the first time. I am unsure why this happens after the first user logs in and not on WAR load which would not inconvenience the user.
