PEGA 7.4 Failed to install 1.6 compliant JVM
Trying to install PEGA 7.4 on LInux. Keep getting the error below.
I have tried JAVA 1.7, 1.8 and 11 (openJDK and SUN) and always get the same error.

I managed to resolve the problem. Despite the JAVA_HOME being set in /etc/environments correctly and no changes in .bashrc TOMCAT was still referring to JAVA 11 for some reason.
I added export JAVA_HOME=... setting to the setenv.sh for Tomcat, restarted and then Tomcat manager showed it was using the correct java, redeployed and all was good.
Hope this helps someone else.
Setup was on AWS Ubuntu 18.04 connected to an RDS postgres db.

Is this happening during rulebase loading? Please upload your entire rulebase log if that is the case. Java 1.8 is supported for 7.4 it should work.

Thanks for your reply.
After deployment, I can get to the log-in screen. However, upon submit, on the first log-in with the administrator and one time password I get the error screen (it does not get to the change password screen). This is just for a demo, so I have used 2 schemas pegarules and pegadata and a single admin user for everything.
