Did any one came across the below issue ?

Test compilation failed: Annotation processing got disabled, since it requires a 1.6 compliant JVM
Issue come from a section where we have specified on the presentation tab to use a currency symbol. Once the symbol is removed, no issues with the compilation. And section will be displayed normally on the UI.
Below configuration works without an issue on our lower environment and when the code is promoted to higher environment below issue is seen.

@Shaveen This compilation issues could be because of using a non-compliant JVM version. A minimum of Java 1.8 is required to compile the rules. Could you confirm the JVM version you're using?
Also note that our SME reviewed the details for another client with a similar error.
This issue is likely happening due to a bug in the Eclipse compiler which is used for rule compilation.
Recently we have upgraded the version of the Eclipse compiler in 8.7. This change was made to address these type of issues. We have also ported this change to 8.6 and it was released as part of 8.6.2.
A fix for this issue has been introduced in 8.6.2 (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/keeping-current-pega/pega-infinity-patch-calendar).
Can you please apply the latest patch 8.6.2 and confirm that it resolves the problem?
Alternatively if no other forum users provide any input I would suggest that you log a support ticket for this and please provide the INC incident reference here so that we can help track it.
