Optimize for reporting not working
Hi,
I created a table in Db with properties Name,Addresss and start I start optimizing the paglist Property .It is showing "Optimization cannot be performed for classes in this hierachy because of one or more of the following reasons : they are abstract or in a Pega shipped ruleset or mapped to either pr_other or an external table"
How to solve this problem

Hi Hari,
The properties you are trying to optimize already have corresponding columns in one of the tables in DB.
Are you referring to the PageList created in Work class and trying to optimize properties under the pagelist ?

Yes the pagelist property is in AIG-FW-Insurance and pagelist properties are in AIG-FW-Insurance-Data-Userdetails.
Let me knwo if there are any issues here.
I want to Optimize the pagelist property.if i use "Optimize for reporting" the index-AIG-FW-Insurance-Data-Userdetails is pointing to pr_index.I want to map my to own table.So for this create a table in Db with columns as same as properties under pagelist.I am facing this issue now

Hi, I don't think you can create a single column for the aggregated property. The ideal way is to create index table for the Pagelist and have a declare index to save the values to that table. This is useful for reporting too.

How i am doing now is,
1)Created a table in DB ex:Test_New with Properties under Pagelist .
2)Created an index class
3)Created an database table which maps Test_New table and Index class
4)Created an Declare index rule .
Now the values for new WorkObjects will be added as new rows but what about values for Old workobjects .To get the values of old workobjects ,We need to run the Column population utility .
I need to avoid Column population job .Tell me any approach if you know.
