Optimistic case locking: how to notify the user?
Hi guys. We configured Optimistic case locking for our cases and users require to get notification (similar as it is done for Default locking) when somebody is working on the case, to avoid the data loss. Can somebody propose the way to implement it? (PRPC 7.2.1)

Thank you Arun for quick response, however I read it already and it doesn't help as the user needs to be notified that somebody is working on the case at this moment. I just don't know what can be validated to notify. Please advise.

Optimistic locking will allow two users to work on the same case or two child cases of a Parent parallel by two users in perform mode. But the recent updates commited to the case by the first user notifies the second user while he is submitting or commiting his changes to the case and ask him to refresh the case.

I know that, user wants to be notified about who is currently working simultaneously on the case, as if somebody is working on the main case, they can work on the child at the same time.

Hello Larisa,
Pega runs below condition check whether optimistic lock is enabled for the case if yes then the 2nd user will be notified with an alert message .
@(Pega-RULES:String).equalsIgnoreCase("Optimistic", .pyCaseUpdateInfo.pyLockingMode)
So when second user want to update the same case without knowing first user have already submitted the case then user will be alerted to refresh the case and update .
I ran a usecase in my local system and found this observation please go through the attachment for more details.
