Optimistic Locking Mechanism

We are using Optimistic Locking. We have Business Requirement that if user take any local action on case and same case being open by other user and do other local actions and click on Save button. System should display Refresh message. The reason system does not display Refresh message because local action changes are not commited to database. Let me know if you know any other alternate idea?

Which version of Pega are you using? Clicking Save from local action commits changes to the database. For the scenario you described, I see the refresh message on 8.3.
