Need to recover assignments for work objects

In Production environment work object assignments got deleted from pc_assign_work table .is there any way to recover or recreate the assignments for work objects ?
pxDeleteAssignmentsForWork got called for a bunch of work objects which cause the issue . Also .pxFlow from the work object got deleted.

If assignment and pxFlow are deleted from work page. The only way out should be to re-run the missing flows on work page again. That should rebuild the pxFlow page and assignments automatically.

If you are using Stage based design, you can restart that stage also. 

StartNewFlow API can be used to start a new flow on the work page.

After clicking Edit button, then i need to open new work object to do my work and need to close old work object tab (something like hold that Work Object) , after complete work in new work object ,again need to open old work object tab automatically
